Restorative Practices Coaching for K-12 Schools

Redefine Your School Culture with Expert Coaching

At Collaborative School Culture (CSC), we know that meaningful, lasting change in schools happens when Restorative Practices (RP) are woven into the everyday experiences of students and staff. Our Restorative Practices Coaching empowers educators, administrators, and school leaders to implement RP with integrity and purpose. Beyond a tool for discipline, RP becomes a foundation for building strong relationships, cultivating a culture of accountability, and creating a safe, supportive learning environment where everyone can thrive.

How We Work With You

Our coaching is rooted in a research-backed phased implementation process to ensure long-term success:

  1. Assess Readiness: We help you evaluate your school’s current practices, culture, and data to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for RP integration.

  2. Build Buy-In: Engaging stakeholders at all levels—from leadership to staff to families—we foster a shared understanding and commitment to restorative approaches.

  3. Comprehensive Training: We provide practical, hands-on training tailored to your school's unique needs, ensuring staff feel confident and prepared.

  4. Phased Rollout: RP is introduced in stages, starting with proactive practices like community-building circles before moving into restorative responses to harm.

  5. Embed in Systems: We align RP with existing frameworks like PBIS/MTSS, SEL, Classroom Management and Behavioral Response Procedures to create seamless, sustainable practices across your school.

  6. Ongoing Coaching & Monitoring: Continuous support ensures fidelity to RP practices, with opportunities for reflection, adaptation, and growth.

Why Choose CSC for Restorative Practices Coaching?

Unlike many organizations, CSC’s team has spent their careers working in K-12 schools, grounding our coaching in real-world experience with classroom instruction, behavioral support, and both district and school leadership. We don’t just teach the theory—we help you operationalize RP through actionable strategies, systematized processes, and sustainable frameworks that align with your school's unique needs.

Our Coaching Approach

Tailored to Your School's Needs: Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen existing practices, our coaching adapts to your school's readiness level and goals.

Proactive & Sustainable: We emphasize the proactive side of RP—80% of the work is about building strong relationships before conflicts arise, with only 20% focused on harm repair. We double-down on training a leadership team that carries on the work after we’re gone.

High Support, High Accountability: Our coaching helps schools balance support and accountability, fostering a culture where students and staff feel valued and responsible.

Integrated with School Systems: We align RP with your existing frameworks like PBIS and SEL, making it a seamless part of your schools culture, discipline, and day-to-day operations.
